6 months! (And 5)

Today marks 6 months since I have arrived!  I didn't post anything for my 5th month here because Abby was here with me and we were busy delivering presents to my Early Intervention families and attending a Christmas party.

For my 5th month, some highlights include:
-Jasmi
-photo show
-doctor visit

You guys already know about my Jasmi and doctor visit adventures from previous posts so I won't repeat them.  I submitted 11 photos to a photo contest. I didn't win but my photos were shown to the public in 3 by 5 pixs on a wall.  My first photo show!  I have been saving pictures for next year's show so I can enter again.

I read 7 books, lots of thick books so that is why it looks like I didn't read that many books.

Now for 6 months...

Not many new things has happened.  I tried yoga for the first time and enjoyed it.  I hope to continue doing it.  I started being interested in yoga and wondering what it is like to try it. I didn't want to try it in a class in case I end up having a hard time following or not liking it.  A woman who is here to train Chinilla met this guy who will be doing yoga and asked me if I wanted to join. I was very busy that day and was trying to decide if I should join or not but at the last minute, I decided to join because when would I have this chance again so I did.  The guy was very easy to lip read and follow so I enjoyed it.  I am hoping to continue doing yoga.

I also fell and scraped my elbow while running. This is the first running injury in my 5 years of running!  It's healing nicely.

I read so many books this month! 12!  Right now I am reading insurgent (part 2 of divergent)

I am also making general plans for my time back in America. My ticket to fly back will be booked soon, then I will have a better idea of my summer plans.
